Executive Director, Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission
Prior to joining the Commission, Ms. Cottingham-Streater served as Deputy Executive Director of the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation where she worked for sixteen years. In addition to providing strategic leadership for the Mansfield Foundation, she directed the Mike Mansfield Fellowship Program, a Congressionally-established professional exchange for mid-level federal government employees.

Associate Executive Director, Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission
Ms. Joe is the Associate Executive Director of the Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission (JUSFC), an independent federal agency that supports research, education and exchange with Japan. She primarily works on the JUSFC’s grant program activities in education, culture and public affairs; manages budgetary and investment funds; and liaises with the governments of the United States and Japan. Immediately prior to joining the JUSFC, Ms. Joe served as General Manager at Tata Sons Ltd. where she provided strategic leadership and direction to the corporate sustainability function for Tata Sons North America, the representative office for the $100 billion Tata Group involving 11 brands and more than 25,000 employees in the United States and Canada.
