The Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission Welcomes Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to Washington, D.C.

The Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission welcomes Prime Minister Abe on his historic visit to the White House. Since 1975 the Commission has proudly played a prominent role in supporting research, education and cultural exchanges with Japan, as well as legislative exchanges between elected officials in both countries, thus continuing to maintain the partnership between Japan and the United States that it was created to preserve.
