To highlight the emerging minilateral relationship between the United States, Japan, and Australia the Stimson Center hosted a panel discussion to coincide with the release of its publication entitled US-Japan-Australia Security Cooperation: Prospects and Challenges. The panel, funded in part by the Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission (JUSFC), brought together a group of six U.S., Japanese and Australian scholars to discuss the evolution of the trilateral relationship and its impact on the Asia-Pacific regional security architecture.
